AUN-QA Accreditation for The VN-USA Advanced Programs


The Vietnamese - American Advanced Programs in Electronics - Telecommunications and Embedded Systems of University of Science and Technology - The University of Danang are evaluated by the Southeast Asian Schools Quality Assurance Network (AUN-QA) and recognized for meeting quality assurance standards with the highest score in training programs that assessed by AUN-QA in Vietnam and ranked 2nd in Southeast Asia.

The Southeast Asian University Network (AUN - ASEAN University Network) was established in 1995 by the Ministers of Education and the Rectors of the leading Universities in Southeast Asia. With the purpose: To promote cooperation and improve the quality of training and research among universities in the region and to be the focal point for coordinating activities to carry out the task of developing educational quality standards and seek measures to continuously improve the quality of universities in Southeast Asia.

In 2004, the Southeast Asian University Network Standard - Quality Assurance (ASEAN University Network - Quality Assurance - AUN-QA) was promulgated. From 2006, the AUN - QA standard has been applied, starting from the training program level for the purpose of promote quality assurance and promote competition in the region.

The AUN-QA standard set includes 11 standards:

1. Output standard (CDR) of the training program;

2. The description of the training program;

3. Structure and content of the teaching program;

4. Approaches in teaching and learning;

5. Assess learners;

6. Quality of teaching staff;

7. Quality of support staff;

8. Learners and activities to support learners;

9. Facilities and equipment;

10. Improve quality;

11. Outputs
