Introduction

Software Engineering program (Information Technology Major): In collaboration with Polytech Marseille University (Marseille, France); Intensive training in Software Engineering, Network and Communication, Electronics, and Project Management; Capable of designing and building management software systems and industrial software; Capable of designing and administering computer and communication networks; capable of designing and developing embedded software systems.

Program Objectives

Train engineers with a solid foundation of basic science and math knowledge; have good foreign language ability to work in an international environment; have basic practical skills; have in-depth knowledge of Software Engineering, Networking and Communication, Electronics and Project Management; capable of designing and building management software systems and industrial software; design and administration of computer and communication networks; design and develop embedded software systems.

Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

  1. The ability to approach, implement, and grasp modern technologies and equipment in the fields of automation, informatics, and industrial electronics.

  2. Skill to apply fundamental scientific knowledge and comprehensive engineering science to the major of Industrial Informatics and other fields.

  3. The capacity to do research and self-study in the field of Industrial Informatics and other fields of electrical and electronics.

  4. Ability to develop projects and technical presentations.

  5. The opportunity to effectively organize and coordinate teamwork.

  6. A working knowledge of social, environmental, and economic management.

  7. Requirements for foreign language output standards to receive a high-quality engineering program: English: TOEFL 500, French DELF B1.
