The 2nd phase works the same way on all of the heads.
After a wurm head is decapitated, it will disappear under the ground, so that you can only see name and its hitbox moving through the arena.
If all 3 heads are decapitated within 1 minute, the wurm heads will come out again.
If the squads do not manage to decapitate all heads within a minute, the event fails; the wurm heads will not spawn for the 2nd phase.
Players will have 2min to kill the heads. All three heads on the map must be killed during this time to reward you with the final chest.
There are no head-specific mechanics anymore and the head will be vulnerable all the time.
The wurm will have 3 attacks during this phase: wiggle, flop, charge. Which of the attacks the wurm starts with and which one it continues with is random, but it cannot do the same attack twice in a row.
note: the wurm models/graphics have been updated on the 2nd of August 2022, animations are still the same*
(the Wiggle is bugged currently; most of the time the wurm only does half the animation with a longer break before the next attack)
The wurm stays in place and moves / "wiggles" his head to the sides. Its hitbox stays in place.
There is a small orange AoE field, which will poison you if you stand in it, but can be ignored; use the time to damage the wurm!
The wurm jumps up. The moment it lands back on the ground, it will knock you back and deal some damage.
Stability can be used against the knockback, dodge to avoid the damage!
With this attack, the wurm can move; it will lift the head, then charge towards its target (can be a player, ranger pet, mesmer illusion, necro minion, or anything else that can be targeted); with the charge the wurm will hit a couple of times and deal a lot of damage. Anyone who stays in it will be downed → everyone in the squad wants to position themselves between the wurm head and the closest wall in the arena - this way the wurm will not run too far/stay on the wall once it got there, so players do not waste time to follow it; control pets, shatter illusions and do not have minions up. Dodge when you see the wurm starting the charge.
