Thursday 21:15 on discord

Changes of place and time contrary to the schedule are possible at short notice and will be announced with the taxis on discord!
Instances
Each map in GW2 can only hold a certain amount of players. When many people go to the same map, the game will make copies of this map - the instances. Players entering the map will be spread across different instances. However, to play and fight together, you need to be on the same instance.
This means: It is not enough to be in Bloodtide Coast; you need to join the same map instance for the TT event!
Taxis
To change into a certain map instance, you need a taxi. This is a squad or a party with at least one person who is in the correct map.
There are different possibilities to join a taxi: by being invited, by joining via LFG if the group is listed, or by using a join-command.
We post these taxi commands on discord in the wurm-organization channel after the commanders have tagged up. Usually the taxis will be posted as embed; if you can only see the "@pokey" message, but not the taxi commands, check your discord options to make sure you can see embeds: User setting - App settings - Text & Images - Embeds and Link Previews
How to use a taxi and join the map
To use the taxi, copy one of the /sqjoin [name] commands (select the text and press CTRL + C) and paste it ingame (CTRL + V).
- The slash ( / ) must be the first symbol - no space in front of it!
- Some commands have "Taxi" as part of their name, this must be included!
Press enter and you should get into a squad.
- If this will not put you into a squad, check the command (missed/added any letters/spaces?)
- The command will not work if you are in a squad already.
- It's also possible that the squad is full (try another one).
- Or you might have used an old command (there is no squad up, check the time and date of the taxi message you are trying to use).
Note: Generally, these commands work with either account or any character name of the account you want to join on - this does not have to be the same character that the player is currently on. The commands are not case sensitive.
Changing map instances
Once you are in a squad, right-click on someone, ideally the commander, in the squad and choose "Join in Bloodtide Coast". Usually, commanders are in the 2nd subgroup of the squad, so you may need to scroll down to see them. Right-clicking on the commander's name in chat will work as well.
If you don't have the option to "Join in Bloodtide Coast"...
- You will not see the option to join if you or the player you have clicked on are not in Bloodtide Coast.
- If you are playing on a different game version - this happens after patches; players on the old patch will need to update their game (fully close and reopen) to join a new instance.
- Or if you are in a different region (players from NA can join EU squads, but they cannot join the same instance and vice versa). The runs we organize on discord take place on EU servers!
- Make sure you are not in combat. While you will still see the option to join, you will not be able to change maps while in combat.
There is a really rare bug that will give you an error message and not let you join on the commander's map - please, notify your commander if this happens!
When you are attempting to join a map that is full (each map has a certain player limit), the game will ask you if you want to queue up. You can enter the queue to get to the map as a spot on the map opens and everyone who has entered the queue before you is in.
You will not get this option if you're in the queue for another map!
What can you do to prepare yourself before joining a Triple Trouble run?
You do not need any prior knowledge about the event, commanders will explain everything you need to know. If you want to read up on mechanics beforehand, you can check out the Event info section.
You do not require access to any of the expansions. Even free-to-play accounts can join.
Character: If possible, choose the character you can deal the most damage with. Bring a level 80. For this event, we specifically prefer power damage (if you don't have a power dps char, condi works, too; but we don't need healers); use melee weapons, no ranged weapons (melee can hit two targets of the wurm at the same time, dealing way more damage than ranged weapons); also, boons are great to have - we like having might, fury, and quickness!
If you have access to EoD, SotO, or JW maps or one of the lounge passes (e.g. Mistlock), you can get the Jade Tech Offensive/Defensive Protocol buffs. These will give you extra stats (+150 power, condition damage, toughness, vitality) and boons when you enter combat.
Waypoints: The main and gather WP is Firthside Vigil. It is also the respawn point for the Crimson team. For Amber and Cobalt, you should get the Whisperwill and Jelako WPs respectively.
Coordination: Due to the high complexitity compared to other events and the need for coordination, players need to pay attention to callouts made by their commanders. Mostly depending on the commander, these calls will be given on discord and/or squad chat. You will find info on whether a command is done on discord or ingame chat along with the taxi commands in the #wurm-organization channel on discord and with the map chat announcements.
