Troop 4 Bronxville - Volunteers

Mr. Bob Burriesci was an Eagle Scout when he grew up in the Bronx. When his son, Robert, joined Troop 4 we got a "two-fer" as Bob became a very active Troop Committee man . He was a Counselor for a few "Eagle Required" Merit Badges as well as the annual Totin Chip Instructor to every new Troop 4 Scout. His unique & lasting contribution was creating & fathering the soon indespensible " Burriesci System" for an efficiient & equitable transportation system for all "out of Cabin " events that relied on parental drivers.

He is sorely missed by Scouts, Volunteers & Alumni

" Back in the day " [ 1991 ! ] Alex Weiner began his long term committment to Boy Scout Troop 4 as well as decades of dedicated service to the Order of the Arrow in our Council as well as at the National level. Wife Regina continually supported our Troop program while sons Richard & Mathew progressed through the Troop. For 30 years Alex provided Troop 4 leadership at Camp Waubeeka each summer while also generously assisting the Waubeeka Staff in food preparations for campwide events. Most recently Regina & Alex are providing key support to our Troop 4 Advancement Program with extensive counseling for several of the " Eagle Required Badges".
