Troop 4 Alumni

Eagle Scout Chris R. with family by his Navy F-18 Hornet which he flew off the Kitty Hawk.  Chris retired as a Navy Captain &  is now a Captain  with Delta Airlines flying out of the NYC airports.

Eagle Scout Brad R. with his family returning from an assignment as Marine  Major & Aircraft Commander  of the USMC's  KC-130  out of Stewart Air Base. Brad is now a Captain  with American Airlines flying out of NYC airports. Brad still retains the Troop 4 record of the most Merit Badges earned ( 56 ) & the most Palms (7) on his Eagle Badge.

So if you fly American or Delta out of the 3 NY Airports,  you might find that Chris or Brad are your Captains !     


Life Scout Dhruv P. at his wedding in NJ.  Dhruv now works in banking in NYC.                

As Asst. Scoutmaster Dhruv always kept the humor rolling on hikes ; he also initiated our first Troop Web Site & moved us into the 21st Century of communications.

Eagle Scout Adam T. has never missed leading the Troop in the Bronxville Memorial Day Parade playing the Flapjack Bass Drum.   He is also a consistent membert of the rigorous Troop Eagle Board of Review.

     Not one to be impulsive, Adam took decades ... married Yeti in 2023

Troop 4 Eagle Scout Mitesh P. & wife Rutesha .  Mitesh furthers his  Scout First Aid skills as pharmacist/ owner of his White Plains pharmacy, SUNSHINE on Main Street.


   Tommie R. & super-Mom Nicole are raising their dream family of 3 sons & 3 daughters in Rogers, Arkansas. Tom is the Director of Sales for the lubricant manufacturer WD-40 Company. 

   Tom's additional job is Troop 4 Webmaster

    On road trips their SUV has just enough square inches for their dog, Sadie to go along. 

    After joining us for two summers at  Camnp Waubeeka the 3 Reynolds boys each completed their 21 Merit Badges for Eagle Scout Rank.

Gordon W.  continues his exemplary Troop 4 record of Eagle Scout, Scout of the Year, outstanding S.P.L. for years, & was the author of the " Canoni List" of essential backpacking equipment that we still provide to every "rookie" hiker. He has served on the Executive  Boards of both our WPC & the Greater NY Council. He has been recognized as a " Distinguished Eagle Scout" by the BSA & awarded Vigil Honor in the National Order of the Arrow.  Because  of his international business success in venture capitalism he was nominated by President G.W. Bush & confirmed by the United States Senate to be a member of the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board which supervises the U.S. military & U.S. gov't employee "TSP" retirement plan. 

     Gordon regularly serves on.  the Troop 4 Eagle Board

    Life Scout & Troop Committee Member Ben B. & wife Holly.   Ben is a welder with Con Edison in New York when he isn't biking, rock climbing, boating & hiking.

      On the monthly Troop 4 hikes he enjoys passing  on his outdoor knowledge to our current Troop 4 Scouts.

Rob B.  & his twin brother, Richard, were both Troop 4 Life Scouts.  His son earned Eagle in a Putnam County Troop. Robert, Wife and son .

Bill, oldest of the 3 Troop 4  brothers earned Eagle Scout.  Bill has been the faithful driver for the " middle weeked trip" at Waubeeka for most of the last 50+ years

      Bill & wife Vicki are retired Air Traffic Controllers. Bill is a professional level pianist ----Troop 4 Scouts & parents were thrilled to attend Bill's solo performance in Carnegie Hall .

Brian G. & wife Cherie. 

 Brian followed his Eagle Scout with a long career in the USMC retiring as a very decorated (see pix !) Marine Major.  He now has a second career with Booz-Allen working on military contracts.

Christian E. earned Eagle Scout before he departed for prep school. Christian's love of backpacking in Troop Troop 4 was followed by a trip to BSA Philmont Ranch & on trips with Outward Bound.

 Eagle John C. had an illustrious time in Troop 4 ; as SPL he led the Troop to many victories that brought home 3  vaunted Bronxville Commander Cup  Trophies.

Pete H. was a fantastic SPL & Eagle Scout who always created laughter on hikes & events.  Following college he settled on the west coast to run his own tech company.

Eagle Scout Ted T. carried his First Aid Training into his career when he became a former head of  our Westchester County EMT Service.

Eagle Scout Bill H. took his skills as an amateur photographer & entrepreneur to found a few companies as a self-made capitalist in Pennsylvania. 

Eagle Scout Mike P. has had a career that widely  ranged from bond trader to NYC art gallery staff.

Star Scout Rick M.  followed his Life Scout brother, Chuck,  into a  career with the Yonkers Fire Dept.  Son Robert is an Eagle Scout in his Westport, Ct. Troop.

Eagle Scout Henry R. is now retired from a career as a hospital administrator. During that career Hank & Helen lived in several eastern states; in each community Hank served as a volunteer fireman.  They now live half years in Cape Cod & Bonita Springs, Florida.

Life Scout Ronak C. is now an esssntial Alumnus heading the Troop 4 Advancement Program & a key instructor on every monthly Troop Hike.

When he is not assisting the Troop he has a career as a Physical Therapist in Bronxville with the Columbia Medical Center staff. 

     Dr. John P.  became a Troop 4 Eagle Scout --- but not until he completed his Eagle Project by conceiving & creating the  Troop Uniform Exchange that continues to this day. 

    He followed Dentistry Merit Badge with a career as a big name in California dentistry.... 

    Henry B. earned his Eagle Scout & was accepted at Cornell University in 2022.== so 2022  qualified as a "Blue Ribbon Year" ! 

     Now on Campus, he has augmented  his academics by becoming an active participant in the CCC [ Cornell Conservative Club ].

Mike  C. fell in love with backpacking when in Troop 4 .   Currently he  travels down from his home in Troy for our monthly hikes. He is also the first one up on Sunday mornings to get a  fire blazing for all of us.

Tom M. has moved on from various pastimes & star on the undefeated 2022 Mamaroneck football team to a toiling engineering student at Notre Dame.

       Alumnus family update from Trent  & Carla  [ whom you may remember from  two summers  on Waubeeka Staff ] 

Trent has changed careers from environmental disaster cleanup to the insurance business .... and , as pictured, the boys now have a sister.     Congratulations !                  [ PS: notice what Troop 4 backpacking can do for you 😉  ]

Finnegan  A. --- Began his Troop 4 career as a shy & slim 4 foot  Scout who spent his first  week at Waubeeka totally homesick. He has morphed into a 6 foot 5 inch valued leader who was awarded his Eagle Badge  +  3 Palms at the Court of Honor - Boy Scout Sunday 2024.   Upon turning 18 in December he switched shoulder patches from JASM to Assistant Scoutmaster
        Quite a progression !      .......    BUT Finnegan proves our mantra == " We make men out of boys "   :o)

An impromptu reunion took place November 2023 in Bronxville when 1970's Troop 4 Scout, Scott McLellan , came down from Martha's Vineyard to visit his Mom.( Alumni = L to Rt ). Scott, Steve B., a friend, John A & Cliff K.   

Lots of memories & laughs were shared ; Scott returned home.   ( Sadly : only 2 days later Scott  died in his sleep )
