ROONEY BOOED OFF IN DULL DRAW

Birmingham City 0-0 Bristol City

In this evening's encounter between Birmingham City and Bristol City, manager Wayne Rooney was booed off after he came to applaud the fans after full time.

The game lacked any real interest as both sides appeared to be settling for a point.

The visitors had their chances in the first half.

Anis Mehmeti squandered two golden opportunities.

The Albanian winger nodded both chances wide.

A few moments came for Blues in the second half.

Ivan Sunjic’s effort was the closest as it inched past the post.

Many supporters behind the goal thought it’d struck the back of the net.

Honours even and fans were keen to air their frustrations after the final whistle.

Rooney came to clap the fans but swiftly turned away after the chorus of boos hit him.

Are his days numbered in charge of Blues? Let us know what you think.

Thanks for watching and have a happy new year!

Keep Right On.
