JOBE BELLINGHAM SCORES ON RETURN

Sunderland 3-1 Birmingham City

Former Blues youngster, Jobe Bellingham scores for Sunderland in their 3-1 win in today’s encounter at the Stadium of Light. 

Giving the Black Cats the lead in the 17th minute, his third of for his new side. 

Blues bounced back 13 minutes later through Koji Miyoshi. 

Chances were seemingly being squandered but the Japanese midfielder found the far corner from Stansfield’s delivery. 

The away side had the better opportunities towards the end of the half but none would cross the line. 

The home team however got their lead back shortly after the interval.

And the afternoon was finished with a quarter of an hour left on the clock, Adil Aouchiche from close range to seal all 3 points. 

Still no win for Wayne Rooney as Blues boss, his game against Sheffield Wednesday at home could be crucial for his future at the club. 

A mix of emotions shared amongst the travelling supporters at the final whistle.
