GOALLESS IN EVENING ENCOUNTER

Birmingham City 0-0 QPR

In our first night game at home this season, Blues played Gareth Ainsworth’s Queens Park Rangers.

Selection was questionable what with Sunjic dropping to the bench. Stansfield found himself out wide and so Blues had a sticky start to the game with play not flowing as easily as it has in the past few games.

Opportunities did come for us, most notably Scott Hogan in the second half whose attempt was blocked by keeper, Begovic.

QPR had two memorable chances both parried by John Ruddy. Instinctive yet tricky saves to pull off.

In the end, the result was fair. Not the most entertaining but stops the losing streak. Norwich next.

Keep Right On
