OPENING DAY

Swansea City 1-1 Birmingham City

Opening day of the 23/24 season was held today away down in the south of Wales to Swansea City.

The three of us were back out on the road to follow the Blues up and down the country, and with the new investors spicing things up. I think understandable why we were feeling a bit excited!

And the season got off to a perfect start too. Just before half time after a good spell of play, new boy, Siriki Dembele, found the net. A debut goal that sent the travelling 1,900 wild!

However, Swansea answered back in the second half through Jerry Yates after a wonderful pass that set the attack up.

Honours even, yet a thoroughly entertaining first game. Leeds next and with St. Andrew’s revamp and the potential rumours of a certain Mr. Tom Brady coming to watch, it could be a day to remember.

Keep Right On
