What is Wudu?
Starting off, cleanliness matters when getting ready to pray. Usually people wash parts like the face, head, neck, ears, arms, hands, and feet. Most go with doing this routine just before prayer time. One thing that stands out - saying "Bismillah" counts as following the sunnah here. Not much evidence points to any lengthy supplication being required beforehand. Still, speaking those words sets the moment apart. It brings attention into something often rushed.
Dua before doing Wudu
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Dua after doing Wudu
I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah alone, without any partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His messenger.
