From smokeless flame, unseen, Allah formed the jinn - beings apart from us. People came from earth, angels from radiance; each born of different stuff. Not every jinn walks a clean path, yet some follow what is right. Evil among them act out rebellion, slipping into shadows. These defiant ones? We name them shayateen, offspring of defiance.
Why did Allah create praying and reading in Islam?
Allah created prayer and Quran reading to help us stay close to Him. When we pray, it’s like we’re talking to Allah and asking Him for help and guidance. Reading the Quran fills our hearts with Allah’s light and makes us strong against anything bad, like whispers from shayateen.. But they also protect us from harm, because Allah loves and takes care of the people who remember Him.
وَأَنَّهُمْ ظَنُّوا۟ كَمَا ظَنَنتُمْ أَن لَّن يَبْعَثَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدًۭا ٧
And those ˹humans˺ thought, just like you ˹jinn˺, that Allah would not resurrect anyone ˹for judgment˺.Holy Quran 72:7
