What is the story of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ?
A story begins far back in Makkah, Arabia - what today is Saudi Arabia - with a man named Muhammad. His roots tied him to a lineage seen as distinct by many around him. From early years, people noticed something steady in his character. Truth flowed through his words; deception never took hold. Help came easily from him when others struggled. Later in life, he worked selling goods such as fabric, always sticking to truth. Trust followed him easily. Folks gave him the name Al-Amin - meaning "the dependable one." At age forty, a moment shifted everything. Deep inside a quiet cave called Hira, where solitude drew him for reflection, an encounter took place. Suddenly, Angel Jibreel arrived, speaking words that asked the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to begin reading and carry divine guidance outward. A single God - that’s what mattered, along with kindness, honesty, because helping others makes a difference. At first fear took hold of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), yet slowly came clarity: Allah asked him to show truth, to point toward better ways. Spreading word about Allah became his task, also living well, doing right. Some heard and paid attention, while doubt stayed strong in others who mocked instead. Still, giving up wasn’t something Prophet Muhammad ﷺ did. Even when tested by harshness around him, patience remained, warmth too, especially toward difficult ones. Prayer mattered, so did fairness, plus caring for those with little. Slowly, belief in his message grew stronger among people, leading to the wider reach of Islam. Living well was something he demonstrated through actions - caring for loved ones, staying close to friends, holding firm trust in Allah. Challenges came often during Muhammad's years on Earth, yet courage never left him, nor did patience or resolve. His deep connection with God shaped his path, turning him into the final prophet chosen by divine will; words spoken by him found their home in sacred pages known as the Quran. What stands out most is how his example speaks to everyone, showing a clear way forward, even guiding those outside the faith toward new understanding.

Muḥammad is not the father of any of your men,1 but is the Messenger of Allah and the seal of the prophets. And Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things. Holy Quran 33:40
وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةًۭ لِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ١٠٧
We have sent you ˹O Prophet˺ only as a mercy for the whole world. Holy Quran 21:107
Why was Prophet Muhammad ﷺ the last Prophet?
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was the last prophet because Allah finished His message with him. Before, Allah sent many prophets to different people, but their messages were changed or lost. The Quran is the final message, and it will never change. Allah says in the Quran that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the last prophet, so no more will come. His teachings are for everyone, forever, and Islam has everything we need to live a good life.
