Personalized, student-centered learning has many facets, including the development of cognitive and conative skills that allow students and adults to be agents of their own learning. Key components range from cultivating community partnerships to developing metacognitive skills and growth mindset to providing feedback to integrating standards and Universal Constructs to honing questioning skills (and much more!). By collaboratively warehousing resources, educators can begin to co-create a shared understanding of what it means to personalize learning while keeping students at the center.
