What it is : eFlorist shops can elect to set up transparent (or neutral) order transmission fees by passing that fee onto their shoppers.
For example, if a florist is on a web hosting plan that charges $4.95/order transmission fees, this offer would have us set up their eSAT "Additional Fee" amount to match that $4.95 as well (and we'd name it as "Processing Fee" so we can know it's related to this offer).
Opt-in Setup Process
Florists can change their fees at anytime from eSAT (or by contacting CS, TSMs, or eFlorist support). But if the florist contacts us to update their fees and they specifically mention "neutral" or "transparent" fees, we'll use the steps below. You may need to discuss with the florist what their desire is if they already have a fee that spot in eSAT.
1) Set eSAT Additional Fee to match the shop's transmission fee (if their transmission fee is 10% of the order value, use $8).
2) Rename the fee to be "Processing Fee".
3) Send the florist the "Fee Neutral Setup" email template in InContact.
4) Log ticket as Tech / Site Update / Fee Neutral Setup.
5) If the florist is on a limited-time save or promo offer, open a "Fee Neutral Change" ticket with a follow-up date of the end of that offer term. Leave that ticket open as a placeholder/reminder for us to change the fee to the appropriate value based on whatever billing plan they move to after the offer ends.
Opting in During Enrollment
The website enrollment form will have an option to "make my fees transparent". If the florist checks that box, our eFlorist site build team should set up the eSAT fee as described above. The Live enrollment log will have a column for "Requested Neutral Fees", which will be marked true if the florist asks us to set up their fees this way initially.
Our site builder should include a note in the "Welcome to eFlorist email" to confirm back to the owner that we have configured their fee as such.
In our enrollment live list (web report), mark "True" in the "Requested Neutral Fees" column.
Opting in as a Save Offer
If the florist accepts a save offer under the condition that we make the fee neutral by passing it on to their shoppers, the TSM making the offer will log that info in the TSM Save Workflow process, after which eFlorist will set the eSAT fee as described above.
Later Changes
We'll configure the shop's fees as described above, but the shop owner (or any other Teleflora department) could change the eSAT fee settings at anytime. If we change the fee (based on the follow-up ticket for the end of their offer period) we should re-send the confirmation email so the florist is informed that we've changed their fees.
Opting Out
If the florist wish to stop charging this transmission-matching fee to their customers, they might just change it themselves in eSAT. But if they contact us to make the change, please make sure:
1) Adjust the fee as they wish in eSAT (modify it or set it to zero as appropriate to their request)
2) Change the Fee Name back to the default "Additional Fee".
3) Log the ticket as Tech / Site Update / Fee Neutral Opt-Out.
