We can create and manage shops Google Business Profiles via Google Profile Manager > https://business.google.com/organizations/112241413910138301362/groups/111934927140043869119/locations
What is a Google Business Profile? A GBP is a profile, or contact card, for Google. It connects your reviews, photos, and maps all in one location. As account managers, we can upload products, add product categories, check keyword performance, add photos, and link all shop information in one area online.
From here we can manage the company's info, add products, photos, and more.
Florist can get to this screen by typing in business.google.com into the Google Search Bar
If the shop already has a GBP that leads to a non-eFlorist site, call the shop and ask if they would like to have their eFlorist site as Primary.
If they say “YES”, assist in changing URL on GBP. (Gain access via request, walk owner through URL change, etc.). Once changed, close ticket with PRIMARY disposition and add to task management sheet.
If they say “NO”, close ticket with SECONDARY disposition and add to task management sheet.
If the shop does not have a GBP, ask the shop if they have a physical location that customers can visit:
If they DO have a physical location, begin creating the profile.
If they do NOT have a physical location, inform the shop that we will create a GBP at the 3-month mark. Close ticket with 'Secondary Pending' disposition. Add to the task management sheet. Create a GBP Onboarding ticket for 90 days from site live.
Turn on the Product Feed link in eSAT > Merchandising > General Product Settings > Feed Link
Regardless of the outcome, message the TSM to inform them of the shops decision
From Google Business Manager (business.google.com) > Businesses Tab > Change dropdown to ‘TF eFlorist’ > Click the blue ‘Add Business’ button > ‘Add single business’
Search Business name, the business should appear with correct location
From Google Business Manager > Click the ‘Businesses’ Tab > Change dropdown to ‘TF eFlorist’ > Click the blue ‘Add Business’ button > ‘Add single business’
Search Business name, and the business should appear with the correct location
Business category is ‘Florist’ and ‘Floral Delivery’ for businesses without a location.
Fill out the prompted questions and verify via phone number, business email, or postcard.
(Adding a phone number that can receive the code by text is preferred; Google doesn't call with the code sometimes. Can swap out phone numbers after the profile goes live.)
After the florist is off the phone - optimize their profile via the’GBP Optimization’ steps below.
Update the Task Management Sheet and mark the status as ‘pending’.Close the ticket
Open a ‘GBP Verification Ticket’. Follow up in 3-5 days to see if the profile went live. If it does, send the ‘Once GBP is Live’ email below. If it does NOT, change the ticket type to ‘GBP Reinstatement’, subject line ‘GBP Appeal', and assign it to Zoe (or yourself). (If they want to sign up for Google Merchant, assign a ticket to Zoe as well. Google Merchant is a great way to connect their online products ti their Google Business Profile.)
Go to Google Business Manager
Click the left hand tab ‘Businesses’
Change dropdown to ‘TF eFlorist’ group
Click the blue ‘Add Business’ button > ‘Add Single Business’
Search for the business by name. Make sure the addresses match. If the business does not appear in the search, it may be too new, and the florist will have to add us as managers themselves. See below for more instructions.
Click the send access request.
We usually request management access.
Name: Teleflora
Add your personal TF Organization Email
Make note of the email it sent the request to as the florist usually dosent remember which email made the profile. Google will tell you the first 2 letters then blur out the rest of their email.
Florist goes to business.google.com
Sign in with the email tied to their profile
Select the shop (if you manage multiple locations)
Click the three dots by “Profile Strength” → Business Profile Settings → People and Access → Add
Enter Business ID: 5852087337
An optimization, in a nutshell, is going back and filling out more GBP sections.
Search the shop name and click into their profile
Click ‘Edit Profile’ and update any category possible
Add services that apply

Dear Florist,
Now that your Teleflora website is live, the next important step is making sure your Google Business Profile is properly set up and connected. This is one of the most powerful (and free) tools for local florists — most online flower orders today start with a Google search.
When Teleflora manages your profile, we can:
Ensure your shop shows up when customers search “florist near me” or “flower delivery in [City]”
Keep your business information accurate, including holiday hours
Post photos, specials, and seasonal promotions you share with us
Optimize your listing with keywords to boost visibility
Build customer trust with reviews and engagement
👉 Step 1: Give Teleflora access to your Google Business Profile
If you already have a profile, please add us as a manager so we can keep it updated and optimized.
Go to business.google.com and sign in with the email tied to your profile.
Select your shop.
Click the three dots by Profile Strength → Business Profile Settings → People and Access → Add.
Enter this Business ID: 5852087337.
If you don’t yet have a profile, reply to this email and our eMarketing team can create one for you.
👉 Step 2: Set up Google Merchant Center (optional but highly recommended — and free!)
Once your profile is connected, the next step is adding your products to Google Merchant Center. This lets your actual floral catalog (photos, prices, and descriptions) appear in Google Shopping results when customers search things like “red roses delivery in [City].”
Benefits for your shop:
Free exposure on Google Shopping, where customers are already ready to buy
More clicks and orders directed to your Teleflora website
We’ll handle catalog updates, keyword optimization, and holiday promotions for you
How to set up Merchant Center:
Go to Google Merchant Center and create your free account.
Once created, go to Settings → People & Access → Add People and invite: seo.eflorist@gmail.com.
Update your shop’s shipping and tax information.
After we have access, we’ll take care of uploading and optimizing your catalog.
By giving Teleflora access to your Google Business Profile and Merchant Center, you’ll be in the best position to attract new customers searching for flowers every day. 🌷

Dear [Florist],
We hope you're doing well!
Unfortunately, Google didn’t accept our initial attempt to create your Google Business Profile and is requesting additional documents to verify your business's authenticity.
To resolve this quickly, could you please reply with a scanned or clear photo of any official document that displays your business name and address? Examples include:
A recent utility bill
A business license
A bank statement
Please provide as many documents as possible. The more evidence submitted, the more likely it is for Google to verify your profile. We truly appreciate your patience and are here to help if you have any questions!
Estimado Florist,
Email - GBP Not Approved (Need Business Video)
Google did not accept our attempt to create a Google Business Profile and is requesting additional verification steps to prove your business's legitimacy.
To complete the verification, please log in to business.google.com and record a short 30–45 second video showing:
The exterior and signage of your shop
The interior of your business
The products and workspace where you serve customers
If you’d like help with this process, please call 866-983-3932 (option #3) or simply reply to this email. A member of our team will be happy to walk you through the steps!

I wanted to give you a quick update regarding [Florist Name]. We’ve made several attempts via email and phone to connect with them about setting up or managing their Google Business Profile, but unfortunately, we haven’t been able to reach them.
If you happen to get in touch with them, please let them know that our team has already sent instructions from emarketing@teleflora.com on how to either add us as managers to their profile or how we can assist in creating one for them - if this is something they’d still be interested in.
Thanks so much for your help in passing this along if the opportunity comes up!
Best regards,
