Releasing YEXT Accounts

1. Delete Listing License From Yext

   1. Log into yext

   2. On the left hand side, click the tab ‘Knowledge Graph’ > ‘Entities’

   3. Search shop name or TFID > Click shop profile 

   4. Scroll to the very bottom > Other Feilds >Click  ‘eFlorist Yext Type’

      1. This is where it will list all active listings. If it says ‘listings’ that means we are currently managing their YEXT account. If it does not say listings underneath subs, we managed it at one point but no longer have it.

   5. Click the pencil icon and delete ‘YEXT Starter’. It may take a couple of hours for it to process. 

2. Remove From esat

   1. Log into shops eSat account

   2. Click ‘More’ > ‘General Settings’ > ‘Site Settings’ > toggle on ‘YEXT Opt Out’ > Save

3. Remove Yelp License 

   1. Search listing in Yext 

      1. click the tab ‘Knowledge Graph’ > ‘Entities’ > Search shop name or TFID 

   2. Click on the drop down arrow on the right-hand side of the shop's profile. Located to the right of the three dots. 

   3. Click ‘Remove Services’

   4. Make sure everything is selected, and click continue.

   5. Answer questions prompted, select no for ‘entities permanently closed’ (Unless you know for a fact they are closing.)

      1. Select specific licenses to remove

      2. Select Yelp, or any others you need to remove.

      3. Click Continue until you receive the submission screen

You will click the person icon in the bottom left corner, in Yext> Account Settings> User Access Management> Users> Add Single User> Add their Information> Their Role will be Teleflora Franchisee

To optimize a YEXT profile, update the following entity areas below.

1. Address

   1. Click the pencil icon to the right of the address box

   2. Check “We deliver or provide service at customer locations.”

   3. Add the cities or postal codes found in their eSAT delivery areas. These areas are used by both Google and Bing.

2. Impressum - A legal statement that describes the business

   1. Visit https://www.iubenda.com/ for an example of a business impressums.

3. Pickup and Delivery Services

   1. Check all services that apply

4. What3words Address

   1. Visit https://what3words.com/clip.apples.leap

   2. Copy/Paste the full store address into the platform's search bar

      1. Example: 10700 Red Run Blvd, Owings Mills, MD 21117

      2. Copy the URL it provided, and paste it into YEXT.

5. Delivery URL

   1. Link to the Help Page by default unless the shop has a specific delivery policy page.

6. Photo Gallery

   1. Download a few product, store displays, or exterior storefront photos and rename the alternative text to something with high-value keywords such as Florist Storefront in Washington, Luxury Red Rose Flower Arrangement, or Fresh Flower Delivery in WA.

      1. Update the description to include wording such as “Florist Bryant, AR Flower Bouquet Delivery.”

      2. Update the Click-Through Link to their Homepage URL

7. Social Media

   1. If applicable, add the link to their social media profiles

8. FAQ

   1. If the shop has FAQ’s on its website, add them one by one here.

9. Services

   1. Update the service field line with “Flower Delivery”, “Florist” if they have a storefront, and same day flower delivery.

10. Specialties

    1. Update this area with items such as Funeral Flower Delivery, Hospital Flower Delivery, Wedding Flower Delivery, Wedding Floral Services, Mother's Day Flowers, Valentine's Day Flowers, and any additional relevant categories

11. Landing Pages

    1. Update the Landing Page URL to the shop's Occasions URL link
