The Celestial Reclamation, or God Gorgers as they are known to outsiders, is a young pantheon. Unan and Talvi are the Father and Mother of their children, the Quorul (Probably dopplegangers, but maybe mimics or something else). The rest of the pantheon is padded with lesser deities of fallen civilizations.
Long ago, many gods banded together to destroy Un Talan Vi. The body of the fallen god was left with the intention that his body would both form a new mountain range and nourish the dragon (planet) he fell upon. Two mortals found the body. The two toiled for decades to develop a means to drain what power was left in Un Talan Vi’s body. These are the mortals that would one day become Unan and Talvi.
These two attempted to take other gods. This proved to be a difficult task as few gods lie still for someone to drain them of their essence. Unan and Talvi birthed mortal beings to direct armies to kill the followers of the deities they hungered for. These two would then enslave the god(s) of those people while the deities were in a weakened state.
The Celestial Reclamation seemed unstoppable, but slowed down after expending energy only to be denied sustenance during the Great Floods. The pair have became more efficient at tapping into the energies of the deities they do enslave and their followers are much more tactful than they were seven hundred years ago. The Celestial Reclamation might not have the power it did during its height, but it is no longer expending energy in direct assaults in order to gain new energy either.
Their realm is a mishmash of architecture from civilizations that no longer exist. The carcasses of gods long forgotten decorate the outside walls. There are still some forgotten gods toiling away in this realm. A select few have elected to join this pantheon rather than be fed upon or put to manual labor.
Worship of the Celestial Reclamation is outlawed in some lands. Various pantheons might have disagreements and go to war, but the Celestial Reclamation are the only ones that are known to consume deities. There can be great power available to the worshipers of Unan and Talvi, but a quick death is the best a worshiper can hope for if caught. Unan and Talvi do have their children however. The Quorul have agents everywhere. Most Quorul are either killed, or captured and interrogated if discovered.
The Quorul can mate with each other, but their preference is to mate with other races. The belief among the Quorul is that this helps breed diversity of form.
