The Ringed Repository is the largest organization for creating and distributing funds. While most nations mint their own coin, it is the coin and promissory notes of the Ringed Repository which are accepted all across Mudar. Local credit unions may form, but no institute other than governments themselves come close to the influence the Ringed Repository has on the national level, and no nation has their reach into the pockets of other nations. The Ringed Repository has a reputation for being a stickler to the rules, but that is easy to do when you create the rules. They will not outright cheat anyone, but that does not mean the rules are not stacked in their favor.
