Midterm

Objective

The goal of this project was to be able to present a ridiculous topic with confidence of our opinions so the class would believe us. We needed to make a slideshow presentation with no words and had to present from memory rather than reding off the slides. The pairs picked for the groups were randomly generated to get us out of our comfort zone and forced us to work with new people that we may not have previously worked with before.

Brainstorming

When brainstorming, we created a very brief script of topics that we wanted to hit upon. We broke down what we would talk about in the introduction, body, and conclusion of the presentation, with the unhighlighted portions being my talking points.

My Presentation

My groups presentation was based upon prove global warming to be a hoax. We had to present a slideshow of pictures that we could explain and relate to our point. The slideshow wasn't able to have any words on it, so the speaking aspect relied upon our ability to remember our main points and the ability to put our thoughts into words. We were then asked questions from the class to follow up the presentation and we had to be able to think quickly and develop a response to a topic we didn't believe in.
