For the project we were able to work alone or in pairs. Although if you would with partner it was recommended that you made sure you could split up the work easily so that everyone would have a job to do. I chose to work alone.

As part of the project, you were required to make a layout of how the gym would look for your homecoming and whatever theme you chose to go with. You had to make the layout drawn to scale and make sure that all the measurements of everything you wanted to put in the gym were right. The gym's dimensions were 160' by 120' and had to be drawn to scale on the paper you used. You had to make sure that there were enough seats out to seat at least 750 people. Also, you needed to make sure that you had at least 2 food and drink stations. The food stations dimensions were 30" by 12', and the drink stations were 2' by 4'. There had to be room for a photo booth and a DJ, who's area was 150 square feet. Finally, the dance floor had to take up at least 40% of the gym. The rest was to just plan out food, drinks, music, decorations, attire, and your ticket design.

For my homecoming presentation, I chose to go with a Disney theme. I chose to go with a Disney theme because there was so much you could go off of with Disney and when I was smaller, I really enjoyed sitting down to watch Disney movies. Even now, I will still sit and watch Disney movies whenever, I doesn't matter the time. I just love Disney and all the characters, movies, and shows that come with it.

How it relates to Math
This project relates to math because an aspect of this project is to make a scaled drawing of the layout we want in the gym for our Homecoming. In making this layout, you have to scale everything, which takes math, and make sure that all the measurements are correct and add up.

Reflection
This overall project was pretty fun, and I like the end result of what I made. In doing this project, I learned how to draw things to scale, and I liked seeing how everyone else's project came together. I just think that this project was overall great in all aspects and would definitely do something like this again.
