Design

In my groups sketch, we drew up the side view and top view of the racer. We decided to make the racer more of a triangle shape because we felt like that would help the racer in traveling straighter that if we made it for of a rectangular shape. As for the materials that we used they were all easy to get and assemble in what we thought would be the best design. We used materials such as balsa wood for the base of the racer and the part that would hold the mouse trap, CDs for the wheels, and different sized wooden dowels for the axle of the racer. We also used rubber bands and cardboard.
