Opening Song - "Island In The Sun" by Weezer
Starting Location - By And Down, exiting the residence they were "borrowing"
Balmora stops by to ask if she can join the gang in their endeavors, hoping to accomplish more than just hang out in By and Down; they agree
Yelyah Rose suggests they go to Pharharr-On-Sea to gain transport to the Tears of Blood due to it being the closest port city; they agree
Upon leaving the residence, they are approached by a mysterious figure. Earl looks through his scoped Gauss rifle and recognizes the person; it's Trent Razor - "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked" by Cage the Elephant
Trent quickly gets to the point. He's demanding the debt he Yelyah Rose accrued when she started to go on her little "spree". He now needs to collect on it due to his recent move becoming the new leader of Arlandria, due to Bray Godsil's untimely demise. Yelyah refuses, stating she's got more important things to do now and will repay him when she's ready. Trent says he really needs the money now and if not, well it's not a good idea. She still says it's not a good time. The group asks if she even has the money to pay him back which she confidently says she does
Earl, Qaplowski, Terofin, Orbod, Yelyah, and Balmora hop in Blynk's ride and make way for Pharharr-On-Sea
Upon arriving, Yelyah suggests stopping at Charlie Brown's Inn for the best chance of finding someone to give them transport to the Tears of Blood. Terofin and Orbod decide to split off and check out Odds And Evens Emporium, if for nothing else some supplies.
When entering the bar area of the inn, they some patrons, but it's very quiet and everyone's on edge. At the end of the inn, there's a large man with a armed entourage that clearly do not belong. The large man approaches the group. Qaplowski notices his nice shoes. He demands the money for Trent Razor. He's Thug Doug - "X Gon' Give It To Ya" by DMX
Earl and Thug Doug exchange words and shoves. Thug Doug isn't having it and signals his group to attack. A brawl ensues - "Le Disko" by Shiny Toy Guns
The bar quickly fills up with more mercs, almost too many. But before the new arrivals can act, the first wave is killed by a shot that comes from outside the building. The brawl escalates and the group does a number on Thug Doug. He manages to escape and tells the rest to finish them off. More help arrives though from unlikely person. The Crow, who now goes by Ravenscroft - "So What" by P!nk
With Ravenscroft help they quickly clear the rest of the mercs.
Meanwhile, Terofin and Orbod converse about alchemy ingredients (Terofin reminisces about Blocus brewing a weird concoction one time) and plan to buy some special mushrooms if possible. They finally arrive at Odds and Evens Emporium, which is a typical run-down-ish thrift store with no one in the store. Carefully looking around the store, they don't notice anything useful other than alchemical ingredients. While perusing, someone walks out from the back. Terofin recognizes the person immediately; it's Alyce - "Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes
After some chit chat, she plainly asks why they're there. They fill her in on everything going on. She makes a funny comment about how Terofin is now king of Stellarvania and that she's glad they "had a good second choice lined up". They follow her into the back room to discuss the matter at hand more.
Ravenscroft tells the group she's been trailing them for a while and asks where the "kitty cat" is (Kanteriiss). Disappointed he's not there, she goes on to explain to the group what's been happening:
She was working for (King) Miraak. After failing to live up to his expectations, he now wants her dead. She feels betrayed, so she wants to kill him now too, but is not in a position to (she's concentrated on staying alive). Miraak is looking for what the group is looking for (she doesn't know the particulars) and now goes by a new name; Eonlypse
Ravenscroft is offered to join the group by Earl. She still hates them, but Kanteriiss isn't with them, so she reluctantly joins them in effort to stop Miraak/Eonlypse
Earl also realizes that Ravenscroft is carrying the two weapons that Pheelae was looking for since they went missing
After the details, Alyce pours a drink and disappointingly asks "when do we leave". She's angry that they came back for her, hoping that she could go back to living a simple life. Alyce allows Orbod to take what he wants and they leave to meet up with the rest of the group
Before leaving, Earl leaves a note for the Charlie Brown's Inn bartender that "Thug Doug" will be repaying him for all the damages. The main group makes way to meet at Float On Market; Yelyah, Balmora, and Alyce go to Toothbay Harbor
Terofin tries to remember any clues about who or what would help them to deal with Worldender. King Oma and Turok tell Terofin that they only two people that know anything about this is just Turok (Yelyah Rose's boyfriend would've but he's dead). He also remembers from Liandri's recap that there was mention of a witch that Eonlypse has; Terofin remembers of a Lazer Witch from Rosshar
In Float On Market, the group runs into Carlos - "Bandages" by Hot Hot Heat. He describes of a "witch" at Odds and Evens Emporium (which they figure out is really just Alyce). Also he points Orbod to another vendor, Drow, down a bit who sells spirits. He purchases a whole crate of liquor, allowing him to brew his potions of Courage for everyone traveling with them. Earl adds a razor's edge mod to his 80-F Blade but at a higher cost. Orbod runs back to Odds And Evens Emporium for some Nightmare Weed and poisonous lips.
After their final preparations, they make way to the dock. The group sees Alyce talking to someone; it's Interceptor - "Bring Me To Life" by Evanescence
Interceptor thanks the group for finding Alyce since she was looking for her. She talked to King Oma and Turok, and under the circumstances she agreed to go out and find Alyce to get her help
The group needs to procure a boat for their journey. Alyce and Interceptor are able to chip in. The group sells their Weller Repeater back to The Silverchair and decide to buy the largest ship, The Seahawk. After much deliberation, they decide to transport everyone (Earl, Qaplowski, Terofin, Orbod, Yelyah, Balmora, Alyce, Interceptor, and Ravenscroft).
Alyce chains up to the boat and is able to ward off the chaos of The Warped Sea as they make way for the Tears of Blood
They arrive at the second largest island of the Tears of Blood. "Resident Evil Theme" by Marilyn Manson. The island is warped, with pockets of nice and violent weather scattered about. Gravity seems out of place as well. The sky is purple; reminiscent of their encounter with Miraak in Stellarvania.
The scour the warped land and following their clues/map, they come to a large broken castle with a huge deep chasm in the middle. They produce light to see the bottom but cannot. Qaplowski and Earl use climbing harnesses to repel down. The Essence users hover down. Orbod and Ravenscroft stay behind
As they slowly descend down, they notice a blown out hole in the chasm with some castle-esque features. They decide to stop in their and check it out. It's part of a castle room with a large unmarked locked door. Earl goes to use his 80-F blade but before he tries to melt the lock, he notices it is simply unlocked. A small room with a single sword mounted on the far wall.
Orbod tries to detect any Essence and in doing so, he reveals some glowing glyphs on the mount. They're able to decipher the glyphs easily and it's revealed that it's Lord Bartleh's sword, The Predator. Earl decides to take it and dumps his plasma cutter.
They continue on down the chasm and finally reach the bottom. It's eerily dark where their light barely illuminates their surroundings. The only thing they hear wet slurping noises and as they reveal the walls made of some stone, they are moving like they're alive.
The group pushes on, from a long distance ahead they only notice blue glowing eyes. Earl uses his scoped gauss rifle and sees through the darkness. He catches a glimpse of something both out of this world and familiar. It steps out of the darkness, staring at Earl and screams; it's Tesora Matodo, but now transformed into something worse. Umbradeth - "All Nightmare Long" by Metallica
Terofin and Qaplowski rally a scared Earl and Orbod. Umbradeth flies toward Earl to attack, slicing his scoped gauss rifle in half (Qaplowski helps deflect some of the damage to Earl). The group notices that from the walls a darkness starts to slowly surround them. Alyce uses her Essence to stave it off for a bit.
Orbod puts a barrier on Earl to help protect him. Terofin blasts Umbradeth with lightning that's so bright and volatile that it pushes the encroaching darkness back to the walls. Ravenscroft shoots off her shotgun. Balmora heals Earl. The battle continues as the group focuses on bringing down Umbradeth. Gruesome minions are summoned but are held off. Umbradeth manages to incapacitate Terofin. Alyce channels her Essence to deal the killing blow to Umbradeth, but in a last ditch effort Umbradeth unleashing a final attack, incapacitating Earl.
Once Umbradeth is defeated, the surreal darkness fades away and the chasm returns to normal. The group heals up as much as they can and push forward.
They arrive at a locked door. Earl tries again to use his 80-F Blade to slice through the door which he not only does, but in the plain looking storage closet he notices a stone that he moves to reveal a hidden stairwell.
They go down the narrow stairwell, they arrive at a small room with an unnatural red glow. In the middle a small pool of black thick sludge sits. Terofin tries to predicate what's about to happen but is unable to
As the group debates on what to do, Terofin grabs a mop from the storage closet to stick it in the sludge. As he approaches the small pool, something starts to lift and float about the pool of black sludge. It's Worldender - "Giving In" by Adema
Worldender is describe as a culmination of all the previous Black Soul Artifacts melded together. It is a morning star (mace). It has a purple metallic hilt. The bottom has a green glowing ball end. Above it is a bluish stone like ring/circle; below it a large glowing red spike. At the top, the base part is golden with green blades protruding out and at the very top are three smokey gray spikes (like a trident)
Ravenscroft wants to leave as she's scared. Terofin and Orbod conjure up a plain to encase Worldender in a solid "box" of Essence so that no one has to touch/carry it. Earl, Qaplowski, and Ravenscroft hang back while all the Essence users (Terofin, Orbod, Yelyah, Alyce, Interceptor, and Balmora) gather around Worldender to perform the action. As they all attempt this, they first drink their potions of courage and start casting Essence. Terofin and Orbod start to falter as the temptation starts to burrow through their minds into grabbing it. Interceptor sees Terofin giving in, she makes a joke about having the "true Queen of Stellarvania" show you how it's done. Alyce tries to refocus Terofin but it's no help. Earl goes to Orbod to help give support while Qaplowski supports Terofin. While Terofin regains his composure, Orbod not so much. Ravenscroft takes the opportunity to leave. Balmora tries to pep talk Orbod, saying they're both new to this but need to pull it together. He finally succeeds. The spell is successful and it's encased in Essence.
Closing song - "We're All To Blame" by Sum 41
