The Prodigy, those born with the innate power of Essence, are constantly walking the path; sometimes carving out a new one. The source of their gift is unknown and truly random in range and power, from creating sparks of light to laying waste to all in fields of fire. Regardless, those lucky enough to have it (or very, very rarely gain it) can make it known they a force to be reckoned with.
