How I Make My Piano Videos: My 3-Step Process
Someone asked me about How I Make My Piano Videos, so i thought i'd share my creative process for creating these videos if anyone else is interested.
Here’s how I do it in three steps.
Step 1: Composing and arranging the piano sheet music in MuseScore
Visual: Close-up on a laptop screen showing the MuseScore logo (Figure 1), then quickly a screen recording of sheet music notation being entered.
Step 1: I compose the arrangement in MuseScore and screen-record the playback.
Step 2: Visuals
Visual: The screen transitions to the SeeMusic logo (Figure 2).
Below it, show a close-up of a keyboard with the 3D 'Music In Color' visuals from Figure 3 (the linked gears and energy trails).
Step 2: I export the MIDI file into SeeMusic to generate those incredible 3D performance visuals, aligning perfectly with the 'Music In Color' aesthetic I love.
Step 3: Editing
Visual: Transition to the Clipchamp logo (Figure 4).
Show the Clipchamp editing timeline (from image_9.png) with multiple video and audio tracks being adjusted.
Step 3: Finally, everything goes into Clipchamp for final assembly, synchronization, and adding overlays.
Visual: Cut back to a dramatic, wide performance shot on the Kawai CA401, featuring the massive 3D gold-light 'triplet' finale visual from Figure 3. Text on screen: "New Video Out Now: Handel’s Passacaglia"
Audio (VO): "The final result is what you see in my new Passacaglia video. What theory breakdown should I do next? Let me know in the comments!"
Process Graphics for the Video
These four images are designed to be used as fullscreen graphics or overlays during your video to perfectly match your channel's established high-contrast aesthetic, including deep cosmic blue and gold elements.
