Although we at St. Joseph Parish and at Cristo Rey Mission strive to provide the best and safest programs for our children, the fact remains that we cannot provide this service to our community without the help of mature responsible Catholic Adults, like yourself, who are willing to give of their time and talents. We are always in need of people who are willing to serve as assitants within our classrooms.

All of our volunteers are required to participate in "Echoes of Faith" which is the Certification Program for Catechists in place in our Diocese. Our volunteers are also required to attend a Safety Awareness Workshop entitled "Protecting God's Children". At the end of this workshop our volunteers are required to read and sign a Code of Ethics which they must abide by. Our volunteers must also agree to have a Criminal Background Check done. Volunteers are only allowed in our classrooms AFTER their background check has cleared.

For the safety of our children, anyone wishing to visit our classrooms, parents/guardians/ siblings, may do so only after they have attended the Protecting God's Children Workshop and have received permission to do so from our Staff.
