Assist in distributing the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass or Communion services. Ministers are approved by the Pastor and require training. Must be a confirmed practicing Catholic in good standing and a registered member of St. Joseph's. If married, the Church must have blessed the marriage.
Assist in proclaiming the Word of God to the community. Lectors are approved by the Pastor and require training. Lectors may be asked to read at daily masses as well as special events. Must be able to read aloud well, be a confirmed practicing Catholic and a registered member of St. Joseph's. If married, the Church must have blessed the marriage.
