Save the Children Malvern Branch raise £3,600 over the Christmas Period

Members of Save the Children Malvern Branch worked incredibly hard over the Christmas period raising £3,600 for Save the Children UK. This includes nearly £1,800 from the sale of Save the Children Christmas Cards, over £900 from the Christmas Fair, nearly £700 from the Bridge Tea at Colwall Village Hall, £300 from the street collection outside Wilkos, £300 from their Carol Singing at Morrisons and nearly £300 from the Christmas Quiz. They also received a generous donation of £300 from Coddington Christmas tree sales and a further £200 in donations from elsewhere.

Chair Andrea Bright said, “I am so pleased with how well we have done this year and it’s all down to the hard work of the committee and our volunteers. I’d also like to thank the general public and local businesses for their generosity and support. All the monies go to support STC projects in Britain and overseas. In total in 2018 we have raised over £12,500.”
