Chorlton and Wheeler’s Reality Check is a weekly roundup of all that’s weird in the United Worlds and beyond. They concentrate on reporting anomalies, UFOs, cryptids, in fact, anything that the major news networks simply won't touch.
Chorlton has a raspy, reedy voice and drinks far too much coffee. He's never seen a book of grammar in his life. He's a hippy and loves a sub sandwich. Wheeler has a slurry voice that sounds like he badly needs some coffee, or perhaps urgent treatment for a stroke. He has a penchant for strong drugs and rock music.
The United Worlds government are constantly trying to shut down the podcast, which broadcasts "to all free-thinking people everywhere". The hapless duo are pirates, in the most inoffensive sense of the term. They hijack the military communication network N.A.C.I.N. and bounce their audio podcast around several transmitters at once to avoid detection. They are a nuisance to the United Worlds, but not dangerous. For the most part, the navy grudgingly tried to ignore them as they do help with morale. Their show is comical, almost nonsensical and makes for amusing listening.
