A Long Time Ago...

These were built a while ago, but I've only just got around to uploading this blog. A couple of things that I've made for the themed play area in my wife's classroom. Below is a pirate ship I made for my wife's classroom. It's mainly corrugated card with wooden supports. A bit of old rope and a paint job finishes the effect.

This space rocket was constructed mainly from hardboard. It had 2x1 supports at the corners and the seams were covered with white Gorilla tape. The fins were added and then the details were drawn on with permanent marker. The rocket was designed to be able to dismantle and flat pack so it can be reused again as a play house, or a castle, or.......
