The easiest way to understand this event is by considering it as a massive Plague Zone, server-wide edition. All players in all states will be helping each other to eliminate Captain Wallace instead of the Matriarch. But before you can kill him, you need to eliminate the 4 Followers of Captain Wallace and the mobs surrounding their area.

Combat

INFECTED TERRITORY:

Infected Territory will have a large number of Infected Troops, you will need to send Heroes Squads and Marches to attack the territory and eliminate all the Infected to push forward.

ELITE INFECTED:

Elite Infected will appear on some of the territories, and can only be attacked when you eliminate the infected around the territory. Elite Infected is powerful and will need Chiefs to deal enough damage to take it down. If you failed to defeat the elite, it will summon infected to take over and the territories around, and the chiefs will need to eliminate them first. After eleimating all the Infected and Elite, you can send hero squads to explore the territory.

GUIDE AND TIPS

1. Only the benefits or your hero level, skills, and gears are effective.

2. Use your best heroes

3. Be strategic in attacking tiles

4. Be strategic in stacking up benefits.

5. You can always switch between benefits and see effectiveness by checking your wave report via mail.

6. You can buy oxygen tanks 4x a day. (1k each)

7. You can buy limited packs as well. Click (+) button.

I've been asked a lot what are the highest hitpoints you can make in this event. As per the poll done in SOS Collab Team's Discord Server. The highest point for attacking infected is 435 and 1100 for challenging/exploring.

HOW TO MAXIMIZE YOUR GAMEPLAY:

1. Play as a part of a team or the entire server. Similar to the plague zone, only focus on clearing tiles around the infected and Elite infected until we reach the Wallace. Below is a graphic map. Note that the pink ones are tiles that are unchallenged and the light green is the ones that all players were able to clear. Obviously, there are still a lot of tiles to clear. I just made lines where we can possibly utilize our oxygen tanks and will be able to complete the event. If we are going to clear the entire map, I am doubtful that we will be able to get to Wallace before the event ends. So if we only focus on the mobs around the Elite and clear path towards them, we might be able to defeat Wallace.

I made a google sheet file of the map and made it available for everyone to use. Anyone can edit tiles or you can add variations on the path that we need to clear. Click on map for Live version !

2. You cannot change your troop counts when you are attacking infected but you can definitely change your heroes. For you to be able to survive higher wave, you need to stack benefits. You can only equip 3 benefits at a time but you can always change them as well. Play around your benefits and check your DMG in between. To give you more info on how your attack performs, you can always check the combat process:

3.For explorer, you can always use the mighty Mike guy. My setup is always Mike, Maddie, Chef/Nikola (F2P Account). You can always play around your formation.

4. To utilize your oxygen tanks, remember that the stamina regenerates every 120 seconds approx 2 min per stamina. They stack up but it's a good habit to check every 2-3 hours and then use them instead of waiting for 8 hours to fully max it.

5. Tiles drop 3 benefits at a time. The stacks of benefits is dependent on your gameplay, the heroes you use ++. Chart below shows the list of benefits you can get. Personally, I am trying to stack the Targeted Fire but I can't remember which tile type it came from.
