The Alliance that occupies the Capital for 6 consecutive hours or holds the longest occupation time at the end of the event, will claim victory in the Capital Clash
Within the 2 hours of battle success, the victorious alliance leader can appoint the Governor. If no Governor is appointed, the Alliance Leader will be made Governor by default.
Occupying the towers can help in the attack against the capital. The longer the tower is occupied, the faster the frequency of attacks.
The Capital can be challenged every two weeks.
Event is shortened from 24 hours to 12 hours.
Capital Clash happens every two weeks at 10:00 UTC on a Saturday and usually falls on the same week with KIll Event (capital is a good place to get all your kill event points)
Being inside the capital or in one of the 4 surrounding towers, acts like a settlement and does not kill your troops but only injure them, unless your hospital capacity is reached due to lack of healing.
Your R4 or R5 will have to communicate with you on where to port, you will want to relocate close to the Capital as troops marches are slower in that area.
Try and relocate days before the event or at least use a farm account to hold a spot. Front row spots is valuable for rally leads.
Communicate with your alliance (R4 and R5) if your team is going for the Capital or just the Towers.
This way you can see if you need to locate to a tower or if one side is just perfect.
Set 3-4 rallies same landing time
Strength: Little- med-big. ( that way if the last rally is successful, they will have a chance to defend the tower)
Once occupied, keep sending rein making sure the cap is maxed.
The more rallies you set at the same time, the more you weaken your opponent's defenses.
Infantry plays a vital role in every PVP scenario.
We were doing this in my previous team and we were able to secure terms for 6 consecutive terms until I left the team but they carried on ruling the state up to date except for one term This is only applicable to states with equal strength of alliances. If your team is untouchable, you can sit in the middle and towers once the timer started.
1. First 2 hours, we let other alliances compete for points by fighting each other. That way, we have enough time to strategize, plan and the alliances fighting will be using speedups and their resources while we keep ours intact.
2. Once we have enough players to play, we leave the capital open but secures 4 towers. Towers wound 2% of troops every time it hits. and the time differs from 3mins to 1min in sequence. The longer you occupy the towers, the shorter the time of the towers to hit.
3. Max time of occupation we allow for other competing teams is 2-3 hours and after that, we take control of towers and capital.
There are two types of gameplay in the Capital Clash
1. For POINTS:
Mostly mid-range alliances to smaller ones that want to obtain or complete stage rewards. Always try to rally instead of soloing if possible. Don't forget to batch heal in between. For big alliances and dominating teams, getting points is as easy as 123 for them by securing all towers and middle and defend from attacks.
2. FOR GOVERNOR:
Mostly big players /alliances go for this. Make sure to occupy the middle for a minimum of 8 hours. But let's say, only two alliances compete for governor, safe time for your team to occupy is 11-13 hours dependent on how much occupation time left. The gameplay is a case to case basis and dependent on your own alliance strategy.
Troops march slower on the capital grounds (the grey box)
We often hold as much as we can both for points and for occupancy. if we know we cant beat them, we leave the towers once their marches commence.
Set rally leader in towers with mid-range power and keeping your biggest stat player in 2-3rd rank. Switch rally leader to your biggest stat player once opponents are marching. Sometimes, we keep our biggest player out in the tower and have them speed march and take over the tower lead once opponents are marching.
1. CC attacks are classed as DEFENSIVE for both sides.No troops are going to die until hospital capacity.
Heal by batches and in between attacks
Once again battles in Capital Clash won’t kill troops unless your hospital is full. Keep an eye on your hospital because it will fill up quickly during the event.
A tip most do is to Use the Batch Healing Trick to heal your troops without using speedups.
If your hospital is near full stop reinforcing and focus on healing a few bathes until you have enough troops healed up to participate again to avoid troop loses.
Attacking capital or towers won’t let you lose troops if you are watching your hospital, but its important to remember that you can still lose troops by attacking any players settlements surrounding the Capital. These pvp battles work exactly like a normal battle not on capital grounds, you can wound and kill troops.
2. Your enlistment capacity is 3 to 4 times the size of your hospital capacity BUT Only a percentage of your killed troops will be enlisted and some will be permanent losses.
For every march sent:
• 35% of your troops will be wounded and hospitalized unless your hospital has reached max capacity.
• 65% of your troops will get lightly wounded, thus they will be fully recovered once they return to settlement.
3. Only ONE march at a time can join a rally or solo. (You can only be in one rally/ tower or capital at a time) Set your PVP hero squad and troop formation accordingly.
4. If you are a F2P player, try your best to complete stage rewards for badges. If you can get a better rank, the better.. If your in Alliance is not as strong set rallies as a team and attack together to avoid many hospitalized troops and then batch heal in small bathes in-between example 20min at a time ( Roughly 5 - 8 alliance clicks)
1. Massive March + March Capacity (via settlement buffs)
2. Settlement buffs both Offense and Defence Modifiers if you're a rally leader or soloing towers and middle.
3. Rally leaders remember to switch your Talents to WAR, when needing to heal go into ECO an use the healing talent.
There are two types of rewards.
Points Reward earned when you reach certain points. The point requirement and number of rewards will increase according to your HQ level.
And Ranking Rewards are based on your ranking in the event.
