The Influencer Trap is an alliance building.
This building is used to summon monsters, which will have to be fought (only in legion).
The resource cost of this alliance building is :
The trap can only be launched once every two days.
You will have exactly 30 minutes to defeat it after opening the trap.
When you join an alliance. You have 48 hours before you can participate in the Influencer Trap.
In order to be able to launch the trap, you will need to donate an energy battery: It is necessary to have 100 batteries in the trap to make it work.
These donations bring you Honor/Alliance Fund.
These batteries can be found in your radar, on the missions "Kill the infected".
Note: even if the 100 batteries level is reached, you can still donate your battery, and receive the rewards.
Tips to win this trap more easily :
Have your most powerful players as leader (greater capacity and better statistics shared by the legion)
Launch several legions with a constant time interval, in order to reduce the delay between two legions. The legions must be filled in chronological order: FIFO method (First In First Out: You always join the legion that leaves first).
Make complete legions without reducing your army.
Prepared troops formations to reach faster with the right units.
For leaders, put your hero's talents in war mode (and not economy mode), choose lethality and hunters over the rest.
Use the "Massive March" talent to increase the number of troops sent and the capacity of the legion for launchers.
Use your best troops
For leaders, choose your heroes who have the most attack and lethality statistics (bonuses against the infected don't work).
For participants, if you have enough troops, send a second troop as soon as the first one has attacked the trap. For those who have the new combat system: Your heroes don't matter. For the others use first hero a combat benefit from : (Ernie, Jarett, Jeb, Ray, Wolf, Zach, Ash, Zoe), Sarge if you don't have previous.
A good troop ratio is: 5% infantry 30% cavalry 65% hunter
When the trap doesn't have many troops left, not all the soldiers in your legion will fight and your damage will decrease. You must multiply the number of legions and not exceed the number of troops in the trap.
Damage test results by troop ratio
This video, based on battle simulator, shows damage reduction according to the remaining troops in the trap.
Up to 1.000.000 the damages are constant with 71.941 deads. Then the damage decreases 70k, 22k , 7k. These tests have been verified in the game
You must multiply the number of legions and not exceed the number of troops in the trap.
The launchers must be positioned as close as possible to the trap to save time, on the N/S/E/W axes for the first 4 and in the corners for the next 4. The participants must choose the closest leader.
There are different strategies for sequencing legions. The ultimate goal is to make as many legions as possible in order to get the maximum damage, so the number of legions achieved is your indicator of success.
The best technique is to make several legions at the same time (waves) shifted so help participants to chain the legions. It takes 30s to 1'30mn to rally a second legion.
The legions will follow each other at best every 5'30mn (5mn of waiting + 2*15s of travel time) so there is no need to follow each other after the 2'45mn of the beginning.
You have to choose the number of waves:
2 waves at 0'mn et 2'45mn
3 waves at 0'mn 1'30mn 3'00mn
4 waves at 0'mn 0'50mn 1'40mn 2'30mn
5 waves at 0'mn 0'40mn 1'20mn 2'00mn 2'40mn
Then you have to determine the number of leaders needed to fill all participants, for example, you are 32 players with 6+1 people per legion, and you make 2 waves you will need 2x4 throwers.
2 waves of 4 legions, In total 8 launchers +24 participants, 40 legions 280 attacks
It is possible to optimize at the end so that two participants throw a legion before the 25mn, so that the available leaders can participate.
Each trap will give rewards to the participants (Hero Fragments, Honour/Alliance Fund, Hero Equipment, diagrams).
The rewards depends on :
The difficulty level of the monster
Your ranking (according to the damage done even if the monster is not defeated)
The success of the trap.
