While many Foundation Air Assets are stationed at covert airbases and naval air stations around the world often under the guise of governmental aircraft operated by Mobile Task Force personnel, the majority of the Foundations critical air assets are stored onboard the actual naval fleet. While the aircraft listed in the following subsections are onboard the Carrier Battle Groups aircraft carriers
The SCPS Caesar currently has a contingent of aircraft operated by a Joint Task Force of Sigma-9 Pilots and Nu-7 Helicopter Crews. Together, they form a rapid scramble ability, QRF force, CASEVAC service and forward reconnaissance body. Primarily composed of sixth generation fighters and heavily modified Ospreys and MH-139 ‘Grey Hawks’ with Forward facing missiles, they provide Nu-7, Nu-11 and other onboard task forces with the ability to rapidly react to any incident within the exclusion zone or around the globe.
The flagships extensive length also allows for the landing of medium-range cargo planes, often used to take Nu-7 and Nu-11 operatives to intermediate Foundation hubs disguised as genuine airlines or business, or facilitated by Iota-10 operatives and Intelligence Officers in deep cover within global militaries and ATC services.
The strategic placement of personnel in Air Traffic Control positions is expanded upon in the intelligence section.
The two aircraft carriers accompanying the battle group both carry a limited number of sixth generation aircraft, as well as multiple long-range bombers, cargo aircraft, fifth generation fighters, aerial refueling aircraft and other long-range strike aircraft capable of carrying out sustained combative missions on a global scale while also providing a limited degree of rapid transport; due to the nature of the aircraft carriers, they are flown solely by Falcon-2 and escort Alpha-0, Alpha-1, Omega-20, other Falcon-2 Operatives and Specialist Operations detachments of Nu-7 and Nu-9. These forces can also be used in the active defense of the installation and its staff, however they primarily use the carriers as a central base of operations for world-wide surveillance, combat and intervention operations.
