Site - Alpha Systems & Engineering Operations

The Technical Director is responsible for handling each and every administrative part of the department, as well as entirely representing it in the Site Alpha command team. Further details are classified.

The Project Chief Operators are responsible for leading a team and their project for the better. The project’s assignment can vary, however, if a Project Chief Operator has no assignment, he or she will directly help the Technical Director with their work. They count as lower command in the Site Alpha command team.

Assistant Project Managers report directly to their respective Project Chief Operator and are their, as the name suggests secretaries and assistants, helping them with their work, handling most of the paperwork and such things. Basically, they stay in an office all day.

Members upholding the Senior Engineer rank are supervisors to the lower ranked members of the department. Everytime a new member comes in, the Trainee Technician is assigned to a Senior Engineer. During this process, the Senior Engineerwill oversee him or her carefully, analyzing their skills and competence. This process lasts a month until you are promoted or exiled (killed). At the end of each month, Senior Engineers must make a report containing full information on the Trainees assigned to them and who should be promoted or exiled.

A Security Specialist is now allowed in Sector Thanoculus-5 to supervise the Orbital Cannon and Dark Matter Reactor. Other than that, they are similar to a Junior Engineer. However, they work closely with the security of Site Alpha, and as such, most of their reports can be seen revolving around the holster cells or security systems. Once promoted to Security Specialist, they also get assigned to a project.

A Junior Engineer is a member whose supervisor has decided that they are competent enough to be promoted to a higher rank. While they are not allowed in Sector Thanoculus-5, they can now do more manual work, such as fixing lights or doors. They can also propose new designs for holster cells or other areas. 

The Trainee Technicians are assigned to a Senior Engineer for them to be supervised at all times while on duty. They are only able to inspect specific areas of the site and note down problems or suggestions. They are not allowed in Sector Thanoculus-5.
