📘 Overview

This unit expands on the vocabulary required to communicate effectively in GhSL about health, the human body, illnesses, and medical situations. It includes essential terms used in real-life conversations around personal well-being, emergency care, and disability awareness. 

🎯 Learning Outcomes

By the end of this unit, students will be able to:

• Recognize and sign key health- and body-related vocabulary.

• Communicate more effectively in contexts involving hospitals, emergency care, or disabilities.

• Apply appropriate GhSL signs during role-plays or conversations about health issues.

• Exercise: Complete Exercise 13 to test your understanding of the signs.

• Practice: Sign all practice sentences fluently with a partner or mirror.

• Interpret: Watch a short health-related video clip and interpret it into GhSL.
