The unit introduces you to the grammar system of sign language, with much focus on GhSL grammar structure.
By the end of this topic, students will be able to:
Recall all the word orders available in GhSL
Explain why ‘BE’ verbs are not used in GhSL conversation
Explain why articles are not signed in the GhSL conversation
Redevelop and sign a particular sentence into all the word orders in GhSL
Recognised and sign more agentive words in GhSL
