Sometimes a join link doesn’t work, and Google asks for a class code instead. This can happen if:

• You open the link in a browser instead of the Google Classroom app.
  
  

• You are signed into the wrong Google account (e.g., personal Gmail instead of school email).
  
  

• The link is old or broken.
  
  

• Your school admin blocks outside accounts.
  
  

• The teacher disabled the link.
  
  

✅ Quick Fix:

• Always open the link in the Google Classroom app.
  
  

• Make sure you’re signed into the correct Google account.
  
  

• If it still asks for a code → ask your teacher for the class code.
