Do Now: Respond to the PollEverywhere below to create a word cloud of the types of government that our class already knows about.

Today's lesson will be divided into two parts, both included in the Google Doc below and attached on the "Types of Government" lesson posted on Google Classroom. In the first part of the lesson, you will listen to a podcast on the different types of government and complete a note sheet. There is also a link to the transcript of the podcast. After listening to the podcast, you will create an infographic on Canva, comparing and contrasting two forms of government and upload your infographic to the assignment on Google Classroom by the end of class.

Close: During the last ten minutes of class, we will all compete on Quizzizz to test our knowledge of the different forms of government.
