Quinn Stickers

Within days of Quinn's accident, Riley Ritza's girlfriend Kaitlin, used his artistic talents to commemorate Quinn's life in a picture. The burgundy and steel blue colors represents the jersey colors of Quinn's favorite hockey team, the Colorado Avalanche. The 95 & 13 represent his life span - 1995-2013. The football, baseball bat, hockey stick, golf club, and curling broom represents some of the sports he played and his general love of sports. Immediately after seeing this we got this picture made into bumper stickers and other sticker types. Over the years, the number of bumper stickers that have been printed are too numerous to count.

Back in the fall of 2013, Rachel Flath, one of Quinn's friends, and Rachel's sister and her friend took some QS bumper stickers on their trip she took with her sister and her sister's friend to Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji.. They created a blog of their trip The Adventure of the "Three Blondes". She placed stickers at various highlight locations and gave Quinn a great view of these highlights. As Rachel stated in the blog "We came across a little white pickette fence that jutted out from the wooden hand railing on our way up to the lighthouse platform . Rachel brought a special sticker as a memoir of her late friend, Quinn Stevenson. The goal is to leave this logo in each of the places we go (Australia, New Zealand and Fiji). The spot decided on was that fence as it pointed out to the gorgeous sea with the forest behind on he mountain side. A stunning view. Quinn can now watch the amazing surfers that catch the waves at that famous point." (photo on left). Rachel, her sister and friend decided to take on last hike to lighthouse and the lookout point where she placed a Quinn sticker. "We also got to pass Quinn's lookout point. He is still looking over at the ocean on Australia's most easterly point." (photo in middle). "We moved on the see the geysers! They were incredible! Huge blasts of water were coming out of them and tons and tons of steam. It is all due to the fact that New Zealand is formed from two major tectonic plates. The plates collide and push hot molten rock to the surface along with a huge build up of pressure! Rachel decided the geyser was a perfect place to put Quinn's sticker. It is the biggest geyser in New Zealand and it is simply beautiful. Quinn will now get to sit and admire it. He deserves a seat in New Zealand!" (photo on right). In the palm tree picture Rachel found a "random" palm tree growing sideways towards the ocean in Fiji to put the last Quinn sticker. As Rachel put it, "this random palm tree reminded her of Quinn's randomness".

So in a way Rachel was taking Quinn along as a silent traveler on her trip and showing him the sights.

Rachel had started something that everybody, including ourselves, have caught on to. We all have allowed Quinn to travel the world with us! QS bumper stickers are now present in all inhabited continents. There are currently none in Antarctica, but you never know...there might be a QS sticker at the South Pole some day.
