2022

The Quinn Stevenson Memorial Defensive Back Award was given to Mason Gordon. Pictures below show Mason receiving her award and Craig talking about Quinn the football player.

The following is what Mason's coach wrote about him:

"This year's recipient was such a good DB, he was moved to linebacker late in the season. Mason Gordon showed tremendous skill and effort from the very beginning of the season. In our first week, I knew I wanted Gordon to be a defensive back because of his speed, and knack for seeking out tackles. Gordon was also fantastic in coverage for us which resulted in a very well-rounded DB. These skills led Gordon to playing the last half of the season at outside linebacker, where his tackling and coverage skills were greatly utilized."

2020

2019

Bonny and I presented the Quinn Stevenson Memorial Defensive Back Award to Abby Wolff. Abby was hard-working Arns Falcon who by all accounts was very deserving of the award.

Pictures below show Abby receiving her award (congrats Abby!), and Bonny and I talking about and his year as a Bantam Arns Falcon prior to presenting the award to Abby.

2018

This year Bonny and Rhett Kappel, best friend of Quinn's and former Arns Falcon teammate of Quinn's, attended the Bantam Arns Falcons Banquet to present the Quinn Stevenson Memorial Defensive Back award. The winner of the 2018 Arns Falcons Quinn Stevenson Memorial Defensive Back award was Jager Eisner. Congrats Jager!

Here is Rhett's award announcement speech.

2017

Bonny and I have made it an annual outing to attend the bantam Arns Falcons Banquet, and present the Quinn Stevenson Memorial Defensive Back award. The winner of the 2017 Arns Falcons Quinn Stevenson Memorial Defensive Back award was Jacob Hoeppner. Jacob from all accounts, like all past recipients (Ritchie's!), is very deserving of the award. Bonny and I were also very impressed with his DB captain speech. Jacob seems to be a very confident and grounded young man. Congrats Jacob!

2016

Bonny and I were asked to attend the bantam Arns Falcons Banquet, and present the Quinn Stevenson Memorial Defensive Back award. The winner of the 2016 Arns Falcons Quinn Stevenson Memorial Defensive Back award was Matt Ritchie. Having coached Matt in baseball, you won't find a harder worker, coachable, and polite young man. Matt is very deserving winner! The Ritchies (Riley and Matt) seem to have a monopoly on the Quinn Stevenson Defensive Back award - Riley won the award the first year it was presented (see photo below with the two brothers and their awards).

2015

The winner of the 2015 Arns Falcons Quinn Stevenson Defensive Back award was Connor Steer. Connor is now the first back to back winner of the DB award.

2014

The winner of the 2014 Arns Falcons Quinn Stevenson Defensive Back award was Connor Steer . See video the pieced together video clips that were shown at the Falcons Windup. Also, you can see a video clip (may need to turn up volume quite a bit) of Rhett Kappel (one of Quinn's best friends) make the presentation to Connor Steer.

2013

At the 2013 Bantam Falcon KFL football team wind-up banquet, a memorial slide was included to honor Quinn and Jordan Chartier, another young man who used to play on the Falcons and passed away about a week before Quinn. At the same Falcon wind-up banquet, Rhett Kappel, one of Quinn's best friends, presented the Quinn Stevenson Memorial Defensive Back Award to Riley Ritchie (see picture); part of one of the many ways that people and organizations have honoured Quinn's name.
