Traiford's leading pharmaceutical educational and testing site, the Traiford Medical College hosts up to 20,000 students and doctors in training every year. Brimming with all kinds of facilities for everyone in different medical professions and sciences, the Medical College is truly an apex of its generation, and often bring out the best doctors in the world.

The college is composed of three separate sites, two of which are for educational and practical resources while the third is for the professionals of the college to test and research for purposes not strictly limited to the college itself. Here, substantial corruption and disease research has occurred, and even lead to the discovery of the first corruption antidote: Blue gleam, used to temporarily cure Drippy Corruption.

The largest scientific testing facility in Traiford, the University of Natural Sciences is a prized scientific site for the study of the natural world. It's in here that many scientists, both educating and experienced, investigate everything they can about the surrounding world and its history.

It was here that corruption was initially investigated as being the largest source of natural universal destruction. If this university hadn't intervened with many of the spreads of corruption throughout the now unstable biomes, it's likely the threat of corruption would be extremely unrecognised and the chance of corruptive fallout would be much higher.

Traiford's asylum, a place where those who are severely mentally sick are kept in a safe environment and examined. This place isn't like Victorian asylums - patients are not abused for cures, it's just a safe living environment for those who put themselves at risk. People who have undergone traumatic experiences with dangerous aspects of the world may also come here.

The asylum has been used many times in its history for the purpose of examining humanoid psyche among other species, as well as what effects certain scenarios or even contracted diseases can have on an individual.

The most common mental patients found within the hospital are those who have undergone a severely dark past and suffer PTSD, were simply not born right in the head and are given a better chance at life, or those who have contracted a cognitive form of corruption and are seeking assistance.
