Reputation points can be used to obtain larger ranks in your organisations. These are obtained strictly as Questing rewards. The amount of reputation points you need to hit a certain rank within your organisation can be found at the bottom of the individual organisation pages, on a table.
These are the strictly set guidelines for if you can manage to rank up. These are non-negotiable and non fluid.
Just like you can gain reputation, you can lose it too. This can be lost by failing your questing scenes, or doing negative or destructive actions which go against your select organisations ordeals.
Additionally, you can apply straight into an organisation's rank depending on what reputation points your server rank can start with. Be sure to double check these when you make new characters at that rank.
Your reputation begins at 0.
Currency can be obtained and earned by doing tasks in roleplay, or working for a job. We track currency in one main way: On your character sheet.
Currency can be used to purchase items in roleplay and is used as a real time trade. When you buy something, simply remove the price that the item was from your total current balance.
For every roleplay post that meets our 8-10 line standard, you earn +20 currency.
Magic rank is obtained through the gaining of essences, and for your characters is a representation of how much magical proficiency they have. Magical proficiency is obtained through each individual essence (Can be found on our Essences page) and is used to give your characters an actual magical affinity. If they're good and well trained in a magical trait, naturally they should be able to deal extra damage with said learned magic- that is the logic behind the essences and magic ranking.
For every essence you obtain, you gain +1 magic rank. You get another essence every 10 levels (Every time you rank up.) The number of your magic rank shows how many magical proficiencies you should have, but is also a representation to players of how magically strong your character is.
Your combat rank is, quite simply, the scale of your combative dice. Every 3 levels, your combat rank increases by one and you obtain one extra dice. Refer to the experience table on our Progression page to see what the dice you obtain at that level is.
Your societal rank is a mixture of both your wealth and reputation as a business representative within the world. This dictates what items you can sell and buy from purchasers, and increases depending on the amount of currency you have. Refer to the table below to see what currency = what rank and what you can purchase from people at said rank. Items you sell should be appropriately listed based on whether or not you can buy them.
Representing your currency and societal rank should be written as such:
[Currency] <SR
For example
500 [SR2]
The max SR you can currently go up to is 11 (5000 currency). After that, it becomes SR--LC (Societal rank -- Laurel Class.) Every 1000 currency increases your SRLC by +1 and should be written as such:
[Currency] SR <LC
For example
7000 [SR11 {LC2}]
Anything you buy or sell in reference to the below table should also be kept to an acceptable standard to what a character of your level can either have or give. Refer to the rewards table on theBounties, Events, Quests page for more information on what you can reward at what level.
The below table is based on whether your character will be able to AFFORD said type of item, not whether they can buy it for their specific rank, though this will play into what your character gets sold. Remember that the prices of some items can be cumulative based on the person selling it and that this table is a GUIDELINE, NOT a hard limit.
All items can be sold by anyone at any level if they obtain it.
