Climate

Ecological Geography

Quiazal's world has an extremely deep climate, varying not just based on its location situational to the equator and tilt, but on the magical surrounding. These magical sections are known as biomes, different regions within the climate which are effected by one of two factors: Equatoral Location or Magical Influence. Magic influences many regions of geography and nature within this world, such as:

Mana water - Mana water is a broad section of hydrology, existing several different types. It's a very advanced type of water found either naturally occurring or can be artificially conjured by mixing the corresponding magical energy with simple, distilled water, but in simple terms: Mana water is water in its purest form, mixed with liquid magical energy, also in its purest form. A type of mana water exists for every known type of magic, apart from void, and can often be used to enhance users of the like magic type, or their equipment when used correctly.

Corrupted Biomes - Often referred to as 'Unstable biomes', these are natural regions of the world which have been entirely drowned in corruption diseases. Although controlled, these can still prove to be dangerous to both the outside and inside worlds. Many people often refer to these regions of the world as being different worlds entirely, and will usually avoid them at all costs, although they can be entered by anyone. Entering the corrupted biomes should be done with extreme caution, as you risk becoming corrupted yourself. These can be found marked in black on the World maps.

The Continents

The world of Quiazal is split into two large continents: Lumixa and Bilixa. Both of these continents originated from a supercontinent which formed shortly after the extinction event during The Great Decay [ See: The Ages ]. The world was vast during this time, and remains to be just the same, though accessibility between the two continents is a simple task.

Two large bridges sit between the two continents, at the northern and southern reaches of Karkana and Milanar. Said to have been built by the Vitruvian [ Information will be added to History of Incursions soon ], these bridges are openly accessible to anyone and everyone. It's the most common method of travel across these two continents, with legal teleportation being the only other method which comes close to its usage.

Climate wise, the two continents appear to not have a huge difference. Both house regions of varying climate, though it's recognised that Bilixa has the largest variety of the two, holding six varying climate regions when compared to Lumixa, which only has three. Lumixa is the most temperate of the two, holding hot and sometimes even tropical climates with one or two colder regions within the Ergo Wilds and Undead Swamps of Oya. Bilixa again wins the variety contest, holding both of the world's major deserts, as well as regions so cold and mysterious they're unexplored entirely, or simply more moderate climates when compared to the rest of the world; such as the climate found in Milanar.
