Surrounded by a high standing wall to protect its precious goods, the Gardens are the main place of residence for those who follow House Oprah and its space time void beliefs. The organisation which owns these gardens aren't strict like their fellow houses, allowing its residents to roam the gardens and use its attractions freely.

Individuals who stay here are permitted to build homes and use the numerous attractions at their leisure. Due to the naturally occurring rifts to the void between space and time, they may also enter the void without any repercussions against the kind of license they may- or may not- own.

Those who live in the oasis may be much older than everyone else in the world, especially those who live here with short lifespans such as humans. Many of them abuse the gift of the void and its time bending properties to keep themselves young for extended periods of time.

The Ethereal Oasis is the longest standing organisation base in Milanar, founded around the same time the Hallway of Doors came to be (Note: That was a long time ago.) The founder herself is a kookaburra Alkonost, Akka Lune, who used the naturally occurring void portals to keep herself young for the entire life of the Etheral Oasis.

The gardens soon went down in history as being the world's largest, and only, site for naturally occurring space time rifts. People who showed interest in researching, or simply being involved with, the void soon began to migrate here and made their residents within its walls.

Now, it continues to function in the exact same way and continues to attract as many people as it did in its youth. There are risks which come with living in a rifting pocket - people lose themselves to the void's treasures all the time, but it's always appropriately handled by Akka where she can.
