Blossom District Wiyaoi

Weaved between the mountainous canopies surrounding Kokubu is the blossom district Wiyaoi, the world's largest cherry sakura forest. Mingling into this forest is the surrounding, vast population of residents who wish to build their homes among these mystical, pink trees.

Ecology

Wiyaoi is home to many different species of sakura tree, the smallest being the praggus sakura (standing only a meter tall) and the largest being the extremely rare Sakura Bambusa, which people are quick to build their homes in if they come across one. Cherries grow on all of these trees and are completely edible.

The surrounding wilds are constantly flourishing with life in the form of different species of medium class dragon, wild deer and boars and some other mystical creatures such as a subspecies of the phoenix simply known as the fireblossom- distinctive by its pink colouration.

Towards the north-east where the end of the district's loop connects to the psychedelic district, the trees go from being a simple pink in colour to an entire spectral splash of all different colours imaginable. Cherries that grow in this region are a key ingredient in local psychedelic and pharmaceutical drugs.
