A grim and foreboding expanse of void, home to the deities who plummeted off the edge of sanity into darkness. Individuals who live here are the most chaotic of all, challenging even those who live within the Everdark.
The void of Arsgoetia is one of the three void dimensions, and one of the two lead deity dimensions, being the void which the destruction deities call home. This void is similar to Limbo, being mostly dark, except it's much colder and a whole lot more dead.
There are some regions of the void which are considered dead space, corrupt regions of Void dimension which have completely broken space and time, and as such appear to function like singularities. While they don't have a suction force like a common singularity, being inside of them severely warps light and vision on an impossible to comprehend scale, sound does not travel, and they can send you blind in a matter of seconds.
The exact origin of this void is entirely unknown, to everything. Unlike everywhere else with minimal knowledge, there is no documented history of the void, no manuscripts dictating where it came from or who holds leadership over its land. Nothing.
Void, like itself.
The Temple of Destruction remains in this void, a large temple which the Destruction deities use as their region of residence, guarded by dark, monstrous dragons and soul stones, tall totem pillars which scream at any lighter forces, or anyone who shouldn't belong there, in an effort to scare them off. In the surrounding shadow biomes of the void, large, monstrous creatures roam around on the large floating islands which fill the empty space of the void.
This monstrous temple is one which has been sought after for generations by individuals who either follow the creation deities with their lives and seek to put an end to their chaotic behaviour, or by those who wish to follow in their destructive footsteps. The lack of written material about the void makes this a difficult task.
Individuals have come close to discovering the locations of the temple and regions surrounding it, but all those who have come close have been ''swallowed by the void.'' That's what they say, anyway, many believe a darker force is to blame.
The vast majority of this void is composed almost entirely of medium to large floating islands, all featuring either ashen trees or dead grass. This is what many refer to as the grim expanse, and the only life present here is the life of the void beings, alongside the plants with designated, biological void resistance. The ashen trees which grow here grow one of the only prized possessions of the void: Silver apples. These apples are said to diminish any form of poison within instants of being eaten, no matter how they are eaten. They can be mashed, cooked, blended and drank and just about every other method of preparation for these specialised apples, and their effects will never be diminished.
The void energy associated with this realm is void atomic, a region of land brimming with radioactive void energy. This radioactivity exceeds typical levels of radioactivity found in the overworld, and thus is much more dangerous. Coming into the void means the need for absolute protection against this form of radiation, which usually comes as a species affinity. Species which can work with radioactive, void, or dark forces are typically immune to this form of radiation.
The average radioactive energy passing through the atmosphere of the void is typically 80 grays per hour, enough to give a mortal individual a lethal dose within 5 minutes of exposure, protective suit or not. The only form of protection which mortal beings, or non voidies, can obtain for entering this realm is through anti-void spells or magical consumables (potions, magical fruits such as the silver apples, etc.)
