Notorious mercenaries well known for their high paying, but highly successful, jobs. While their main focus is elimination of individuals, the Bronze Shadow are also open to completing other jobs which need to be kept anonymous on your behalf with the right amount of gold.
The Bronze Shadow is a highly renowned mercenary and 'silent business' organisation revolving around just that: killing jobs for cash. Typical of mercenaries, the individuals who surround themselves with those in the Bronze Shadow have absolutely no regard for theirs, or anyone else's, ethics.
While their main area of work is heavily focused on mercenary kill jobs, they work on a broader scale for the right amount of gold. Typically, bargaining for a price of 400-600 gold can earn an individual the right to request a boon from the individual they're going to work with on a job. This means that they can request any job to be done anonymously on their behalf for the price given.
Should anyone from within the organisation fail a job, they will drop on a tier list which the board keeps up publicly on a website. More information can be found on this below. Additionally, they will be forced to pay back any fees to the job requester.
The board displayed publicly on the website is a form of leaderboard. The names of the top individuals are publicly displayed here, as well as their number of successful jobs, fails and how much gold they earn on average a month. This assists with individuals looking to get a job from someone who they can trust within the organisation, knowing that they have a lot of experience in their area of work.
Naturally, this system has flaws. This can make it difficult for new individuals entering the organisation to make a name for themselves. Some spend years training, practising and working with others within the organisation to raise their numbers on the leaderboards and get more recognition. This doesn't mean that those at the very bottom don't get job requests however, not in the slightest. Those at the bottom of the leaderboard on average earn 20,000 gold a month - business is still high no matter what rank of the organisation you may be.
Quality assurance is also valued within the Bronze Shadow. Those who wish to join the organisation are exposed to heavy amount of riveting trials to ensure they can provide the quality which this organisation prides itself on. If they can't meet this standard, the organisation's representatives will take them in and train them to be at least the minimum quality standard they can expect, refusing to leave anyone who wished to join behind.
*The Bronze Shadow features no particular base of operations. It's main form of contact is through the internet or the mail. Each mercenary within the Bronze Shadow has their own way of working. Think of it like an art style- no two mercenaries complete jobs the same way, this is what makes this organisation so unique. The vast majority of large or influential organisations within the world have a typical standard which people can list for most if not all members of that organisation. This is much harder to generalise for the Bronze Shadow.
It's this variety which keeps people coming back to them for less ethical jobs. Their success rate is on a yearly average 66%, much higher than all other mercenary groups currently renowned within the world. This is thanks to the welcoming and inclusive training which its members provides to newcomers, or even long term veterans who still struggle with finding their style of work. Improvements happen fast, with about 70% of those who work in the organisation successfully finding their style within the first few months of training.
Typically, individuals hired by the organisation are expected to maintain a level of anonymity when working as a face of the organisation. This doesn't have to be held up for them within their personal lives. This is often referred to as the ''Bronze Life'' - they'll be designated a name by the representatives of the organisation which they will go by when on jobs or when accepting jobs, as well as the name which will be used on the leaderboard. This is for the protection of those who work within the organisation, and anyone who they associate with.
The main organisational representatives include:
Crasus
Kiolar
Arisus
These are all their designated Bronze Life names. Their identities, just like everyone else's, are kept anonymous.
