The Marketplace traders is a huge organisation which includes everybody who works within the underground marketplace of the Neon District. Individuals who own stores on the surface of the city may also be a part of this organisation and can hold trades between themselves and the under ground.
It is considered to be the enclosed rival of the Openworld Traders, and self-proclaimed superior of the two for its vast, more modern and advanced trading systems.
The Neon District, although still new, has already accumulated a huge following of individuals looking to sell their wares within the city and its underground designated market thanks to the new and extreme influx in available wares and technology within the city which can help them to trade openly. Additionally, the opportunity of a full, open market with new people to sell to and increase their brands attracts even more attention to them.
Despite being exclusive to the Neon District, the Openworld Traders consider this organisation to be a potential future rival, and for good reason. In just the short amount of time they've been present they've obtained almost an equal amount of gold (in credits) to the amount the openworld traders earns in a common sitting (1 months worth of trade), which they see as both a threat and a declaration of business war.
Most people within the organisation are ignorant to this brand of business weapon, and simply remain a part of their specified partnership system for the added benefits it provides.
Unlike the Openworld Traders, the Neon District marketplace's stalls when partnered with this organisation are held under indirect branding. The stalls do not have to display the symbol of the organisation or even mention they're associated with the organisation but it does give them trading benefits, such as marketing assistance, help with employee hire and workshops for increasing their marketing range to a wider audience. Additionally, financial support is always provided to smaller stalls.
The stalls within the marketplace are connected together much like shops on a high street but cramped together in the underground tunnels. To own one of these stalls individuals need to obtain a permit from the Magitek order as well as their budget for opening the store which can be easily done simply by sending them a letter of request, along with details about the stall and included compensation payment of 300 credits on a credit check.
The Neon District's marketplace is governed by the Magitek Order.
