Light

Light magic is possibly the most abnormal of the widely accepted and legal magic types. While it's fittingly dubbed light magic for its common use to manipulate light and create hard light constructs, the term is more broadly used to define magic which are on the true/good alignment. It is the most common category in which you'll find healing and assistance magics, and is where many true or neutrally aligned characters will find their source for self defensive spells.

Find below some examples of how light magic can be used:

• Light manipulation

• Hard light constructs

• Healing

• Light based crystallisation - creating crystals using hard light

• Electronic manipulation

• Lightning and storm weaving

• Heat manipulation (Of direct heatwaves, not fire.)

While it is a very positive form of magic, sometimes individuals find ways to use it with much more dangerous functionality, which also makes it a widely feared form of magic. People who use light magic, while many people will quickly warm up to them and feel safer with them, may also prove to be fearful at first for the following excessively evil uses it may have:

• UV light manipulation

• Light spires

• Sound warping

• Vision warping / blindness inducing

Any magic which is considered either light based or extremely positive (excluding the bottom four types) can be categorised as a light magic.
